Mindfulness and meditation seem to be infiltrating our culture. For good reasons! These ancient practices can help bring sanity and calmness, as well as understanding and compassion, to a stressed out, over-worked, and anxious population.
This 7-week course (Wednesdays, from April 19 - May 31) will cover the basics of a meditation practice:
- a bit of the history and tradition
- comfortable ways to sit for meditation
- what to do during meditation
- the goals and aims
- how to create a home practice
No previous experience necessary! All are welcome. Come as you are.
